Default Washing trainers

I know its a stupid question, but, I am wanting to wash some new trainers, is it best to put them inside something like a pillow case or something like that, or just put them straight in the machine??

Use an old tea towel, some warm soapy water, and save some money on your bills

dont stick them in the washing machine, the temperature will destroy the glue in them, and they'll fall apart.

wash them by hand.
