Crystal Palace have sacked manager Peter Taylor.

A brief statement on the club website announced that his contract had been terminated with immediate effect.

The Championship side have taken 10 points from their first 10 games of the season, but have only won one of their last 10 league and cup outings.

Taylor had been in charge at Selhurst Park since the summer of 2006, having ended a four-year spell at Hull to take over at Palace.

Decent coach. Probably one of the most overated managers in the whole country. Warnock would be a good choice. But i also know that Jordan has a soft spot for Souness.

Shame would have liked him to do well being a palace legend and all, but we played some of the most boring and negative football iv ever seen at palace while he was here. No idea who we get in now, not sure on Warnock, wouldnt mind us giving Kit Symonds a go at least untill x mas and see how it goes.

I really wanted Taylor to succeed, but the football has been awful and 1 win in 10 shows that.

I'm pretty sure it will be Warnock, as they really get on, though I don't want him as manager.

I'm not sure we can really afford him either wage wise, or the amount of money he spends on new strikers constantly. I sit directly behind the Palace dugout though, so that might be entertaining enough

If we do appoint Warnock I see us setting one record this season - Most fines paid to the FA by manager and chairman for criticising referees

Warnock all the way. Proven track record for getting teams promoted from the Championship and gives a funny interview too.

My mate is a Palace fan and he is fuming, though. :thup:
