After that you should write something interesting to you, not just for the sake of writing. You should write because you have something to say in a way that's not been said before
i toyed with one last season to do a sort of diary of all the random non-league matches I went to. quickly lost interest tbh, but I found the software very easy to use.
Wordpress has much better options for customisation, and one of its standout advantages over Blogger is that you can create one-off "pages" that aren't blog posts (whereas with Blogger you can only create blog posts). Blogger is catching up now, since it got taken over by Google and they introduced the concept of customisable widgets, it's pretty close.
You're getting good advice from two blogging experts in Westhead and Tafkans here.
Exactly what they said. Wordpress is a great one to play with if you want to do something more with your blog, such as make it into a website. I helped a guy whose house we rented in Switzerland set up a site about his place using Wordpress and it comes out very good. If you would prefer to concentrate on the writing side of things but still want to have a little customisation, then stick to blogger. I have used it with 10 and 11 year old kids and they have loved changing the styles, etc. Very easy to use.
Can someone link me to some famous, interesting blogs please? It's something that's completely passed me by. I should have put that in the 'which cultural phenomena have completely passed you by?' thread that was on here last week.
