Further to an exciting vote in the other thread, that involved various mud-slinging from inhabitants on both sides of the Watford Gap, Manchester is the venue for the meet-up. The date has been decided for several reasons, mainly that those voting either didn't mind what the date was, or wanted it at the start of a month. Coupled with an early KO for the Manchester United game, this date found the most favour.

I believe that young rcjuk will be looking at venues, due to some website he posted that people was good, or something.

The following is a list of people who are coming. They posted that they would, and they asked for Manchester on the 6th or weren't fussed about the place or date. If they don't turn up then they are speakers of falsehoods, and should be treated as outcasts and punished accordingly. It will also give the southerners reason to moan that the meet-up isn't in London for the first time ever, I think.

A good excuse for southern-based OTFers to meet up at Euston (or wherever) in the morning and get lashed on the train on the way up to Manchester. Or just stay in London and get lashed.

I won't be going, sadly.
