Is Brixton tube station going to be closed from 9:30pm this evening?

Yeah the Victoria line closes early Monday-Thursday, which causes me great fun getting back from gigs lately.

I'm on the Brixton Windmill (a venue) mailing list, and this is what they advise.

Up until 23 November, the Victoria line will be shutting early on Monday to Thursday, at around 10.20.
This won't affect your journey TO the Windmill, and in fact your journey back FROM the Windmill won't be too badly affected either.
The last tube from Brixton to Walthamstow leaves at 10.11, and the last tube from Brixton to Seven Sisters leaves at 10.21.
BUT you can get a 59, 133, 159 and 333 from the bottom of Blenheim Gardens to Oval tube and that’ll add just a few minutes to your journey. Loads of people have done that and it works fine.
There’s also a replacement bus service from Brixton tube station which calls at Stockwell, Pimlico and Victoria and runs up until the normal last tube time of 12.30am.

Stockwell is not that far from Brixton, litterally down the road from Brixton.

Theres trains from Stockwell so I would go there if I was you.

Victoria Line is buggered at the mo due to maintenance...such an arse when you live on it

Is there anything you're willing / able to do without the aid of OTF?

I assume your bed must be against a wall, otherwise we'd get a daily 'which side should I get out of?' thread.

and fwiw Brixton railway station is a lot closer than Stockwell Tube, that will take you into Victoria.

or even get the 3 or 59 buses which go right near Waterloo.

He wouldn't run, he'd ask them to hold on for a bit while he asks OTF what to do next.

Don't need Victoria though, need Waterloo so I think Stockwell is the best option, as just two stops on that line and I'm there.

Don't be rude James. It's only all IT and transport issues that I let OTF handle. Though I'm yet to decide what to have for lunch today.
