A really boring question about electricity
I am moving into a flat that has a PAYG electricity meter. As I am a good boy and pay my bills on time, what chance would I have if I called my electric company and asked them to put in a regular meter?

Yeah I spoke to the agents about it and they were fine with it, presumably the same would go for the landlord. tbf, why should the landlord care either way as long as it doesn't mess up the flat?

Because iirc the contract for supply is with the landlord not the tennant.
So his permission would be needed, long as he is ok i shouldnt forsee a problem but then again i dont work for an electricity company!

All the contracts I've had when renting has said the tenant is responsible for all bills; electric, water, tv license etc.

You'll have to go through a credit check dude, won't be an issue though apart from that.
