what about those of us who grew up with Operation Wolf, Commando, Green Beret, etc.
we dont go around shooting people and knifing them.
picking up ammo, and firing bazookas. etc.

tbf that's only because we probably don't find them lying around as freely as you do in the game.
If I saw a bazooka on the floor I'd be tempted to give it a whirl.

Load of tripe. Tv has to be far more influential than games.
Besides, weak people will always be swayed by external sources - if it's not a game, it'll be a person.

Not sure where Elspa have got the figures for an average gamer being 28 tbh. Would be very suprised if that was the case.
