This is quite awesome as well.

What strikes me is the difference between home fans cheering and away fans cheering. When there's a home goal, especially if it's the first one, it's often more of a relieved sort of cheer, sort of 'great, about time, well done'. Away goals though are met with just unbridled joy. Away games so much better.

I love the way that the more important the goal is for the team, the more high pitched the 'yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh' is. For instance the cheer after the first goal in this video goes in is as manic as it gets.

True about the "yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh". It sounds better than the "ooooooorrhhhhhhhhh" sound you get in Italy or Spain </BLOCKQUOTE>

I always wondered what that sound was about. Then I went to Boca Juniors v Sao Paolo and when Boca scored everyone went mental and shouted 'gooool, gooool!'. So it's that. It's really cool, but the English yeaaah just about edges it.

The people that composed it gave out lyric sheets at the first game they sang it. Didn't take too long for everyone to pick it up.
