Hey all you gurus

I was wondering how to make a planet that looks like the earth.. i know how to make a kind of "evil" looking planet.. but it would be super sweet to be able to make The Earth

I hope you guys can help me..

Greg Martin, a superb digital artist, has a couple of tutorials up on making realistic star fields and planets. While his tutorial doesn't address creating an earth type planet it will give you some good tips...

Here I go again. ( don't like the size rule. My stuff is always too big. When I reduce the file size the old artifacts creep in) anyway here they are.
