Yeah, my Mother has requested I do so because she's busy and she wants to make an official complaint. It's to PC World (I told her not to use them) as we ordered a laptop from them, and paid quite a bit extra to have it delivered on a specific day (today) which they failed to do.

My Mum phoned them up and they offered to "refund the delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill" which she took exception to. A gesture of goodwill for giving back the money that we paid for a service you failed to provide. Oh thank you so much.

Anyway the long and short of it is that it was vital we got the laptop today because it's for my Sister who is at Uni a fair distance away and we will be seeing her this weekend to hand it over, but we don't actually have it.

Never written a letter of complaint before, so basically looking for help. I took down the name of the district manager and will be addressing it to him personally. I think that's a good idea.

set your thoughts out clearly, write a brief plan first if it helps to organise what point you'll make where. Also, despite your obvious anger, try and keep a neutral tone and dont come across aggressive in your writing style as it wont get you anywhere
