Writing a polite letter of complaint is pointless, because it'll just go on file and you'll get a standard letter back. So the only reason to write is the cathartic experience of slagging them off - which means you should send Don's letter.

Was thinking I'd have to write a letter of complaint to BT after not sorting out my phone line after me making 2 appointments for them to do so.
Turns out they had installed it and just not told me.
I'm just glad I don't have to write the letter..
