Don't think we've had one of these for a while.

My faithful 20gb Creative Zen Touch has finally bitten the dust and I need a new mp3 player to enjoy my music when I'm not at my pc or near my hi-fi.

Not been in touch with prices of these for a while but would preferably want a 20gb+ player. Not a fan of iPods but welcome to change

If you want to use a ridiculously over-complicated piece of software, get an iPod. If you want anything simple, get something else. My advice would be get it on your phone if you're due for an upgrade.

I've had my 8mb zen microphoto for over a year now and it's done me well, still not filled. :cool:

But yeah, I'd go for a Zen again.

Have Creative released a newer version of the Zen recently that I should be aware of?

Personal preference for me would be to not get an iPod so I would be leaning towards a Zen once again.

I remember testing one at the Duracell tent at T in the Park that was quite good, but no idea how new it was.

if you think an ipod is overly-complicated you should probably stay away from anything electrical. plugs can be dangerous!
