I suspect the gact it's come back to he media spot light will make some players pay up through the fear of being found out as not paying having said they would

It's debatble if footballers should give up a days wages or not but when they agree to but then don't do it they desrrve to be named and shamed

it's pretty much just a test of "which clubs have leaned on their players enough and got them to donate", rather than anything else

to be honest, I should have thought it's nothing to do with the players, and more the accountants their agents employ being slack.
