I strangely don't actually swear in front of students. Although to be fair, I've had plenty of practice at switching from swearing to non-swearing mode in the past (especially with parents) which helped :thup:

Even manage to contain myself when the buggers irritate the hell out of me. I have the teacher stare of doom look down to a tee \o/

I don't think I've sworn in front of a student (other than a mature one) for a while now. I don't lose my temper either which helps.

Not so good at the teacher stare of doom tbh. Doesn't help that I'm 5'7" and usually shorter than them

I just stand my ground and try to maintain a not impressed look with plenty of eye-contact - not quite a stare though. can be difficult sometimes when, as one student did, that if I stopped him messing about he was going to tell his parents that I "touch him". Luckily he was joking.

tbh, being a well built, tall bugger, who also happens to supposedly be a goth and walks around with a permo scowl kinda helps with classroom control. I never shout, I just go quiet and stare daggers at the offensive liitle oik . The other kids **** themselves and tell them to stfu \o/

Haha, that you touch him?! SO AWESOME. We got told by the college never to be alone in a room without windows with a student. Like if the room is empty the windows will provide an alibi ffs

I wilfully disobeyed this by chilling in the store cupboard with my harem though :thup:
