Ah so wise. Yes they did. In 1123 Liverpool in a society with great morals and people could leave their belongings in the trust of others a young crusader named David Leary was fed up of seeing people with better belongings, flashier clothes and fancier carriages he took it upon himself to theif their belongings in the disguise of a curly wig and moustache. Carriages were left standing as the wheels were pinched yet no one could pinpoint the perpetrator as he people had not been subjected to possessions ever going missing and young David got rich on the backs of stealing.
Young theives today learn from their hero David Leary and his tales of robbery in Liverpool and everywhere around the world today.

I live near Chichester and always forget it's even classed as a city. It's a sleepy village with a catherdral and some high street shops in old fashioned units.

The answer of Nottingham is currently the absolute worst one so far, unless someone wishes to pipe up with Westminster.
Chichester would be one I'd throw into the hat... except it's role as the landing point for the Roman invasion... although I don't think they're 100% sure of even that.

tbf, liverpool has taken so so so much from the country over the last 800 years, that although it has given plenty back, our net contribution is probably lower than anywhere else.
and i for one could not be prouder. :*)
