Default Two very basic and easy maths equations I need help with

I haven't done maths in so so so long and both me and my flat mate aren't confident of our answers. So here goes:

1)

Solve the following equation (round to two decimal places if needed): 2 - (2t + 1) = 4(t + 2)

2)

Solve the following equation (round to two decimal places if needed): 5/m = 2/(m+1)

thanks

Well, if you wanted to decimalise (is this a word), then the answers become -1.17 and -1.67. I'd rather left them as fractions to be honest.
