I want to replace my ageing 19" monitor for something new and swanky.

I've had a look around and it seems that looking for a decent monitor is getting akin to looking for a decent TV.

Grateful for amy sensible suggestions as to what I should spend my cash on.

This looks not bad.

Plenty of good montiors kicking about just depends how much money you have etc...

Personal opinion says get a Samsung just for reliability and picture quality but theres plenty of decent screens out there. Places online like Tom's Hardware usually give pretty good reviews of most things so a bit of reading is usually a good thing.
