The best bit of Deal Or No Deal is at the end, when after Noel delivers his closing gumpf to the camera he goes back to join in the celebrations, only no-one wants to talk to him and he ends up standing alone, covering him shame by drinking from one of those DoND mugs until the credits have rolled. Says it all really.

For tonights bit of irrational pedanticism, I refuse to watch any English/British-made programme which uses 'smart' in place of 'clever'. Not that I'd watch this anyway. No.
