If something comes to £8-9 for example i will just give them a tenner as its easier.
When abroad though we tipped 10% as thats the done thing over there

10% if the service was 'as expected'. In cash on the table as well. If the service was bad in anyway, less or none. If the service was especially good, up to 15% or so.

There's no expectation in Australia, so only very rarely.

Always tip. Unless they've personally offended me somehow.
How much depends on the level of service.

I tip 10% at restaurants. I don't tip taxis that often. hairdressers are a small tip.
that girl is very annoying
