Would someone mind explaining to me why young English players that aren't quite good enough to break into Premier League first teams yet can't just go abroad?
Is it because they don't want to learn a new language, because they won't take a cut in wages, or because they are allergic to regions that don't have as much precipitation?

Cherno Samba if i remember went abroad he is like a poor mans Dulee Johnson
The problem with this quota is that it stops players with amazing talent like Dulee Johnson being able to demonstrate their skill to the masses like in England Premiership.
I hope this quota doesn't come into power because I think most of us agree it is racist. Who cares about where someone hails from or the colour of their skin as long as they play entertaining football? In Sweden this is a problem in attitude for Dulee Johnson this is why he wants to move quickly to a big club in Europe

Some clubs have agreements with sides in Europe. I'm guessing there's more money in the Prem reserves.
If i was a player and not one of your Arsenal, Liverpool 'gonna make it to the top', just a bit average i'd defenitely try to play in as many countries as possible. Would be ace

| Any proof of that other than certain foreign clubs saying Lampard is over-rated and not worth the price tag?
If your asking price is too high, of course foreign clubs are going to tell you to sit on it and spin

| No it's not racist. Not even close. Quote:

| Fully agree. Though I haven't much bad to say about the UEFA squad rule. Quote:

| Thais bull. DJ wants to leave because AIK is a poor team in a poor league. He won't win the league and only get the occasional european matches. He's leaving because he can (will get bugger bux too).

Also I find it interesting that the issue that has been discussed in Sweden and denmark lately isn't heard in England...
The EU have some sort of treaty with the african countries about making it easier for them to come and work here. A danish club went to court and said that that should mean that all african players should be considered as EU nationals (their FA has some restrictions on foreigners). The club won so africans are free to play in denmark. (Norbaek should know more about the issue)

UEFA have already changed their resgistration laws. It could work at the moment, employ who you like, doesn't mean they are allowed to register to play matches. Inevitably there will eventually be a compromise reached on this, as it's not cut and dry.
