Kinda strange if you ask me.
not really "its my religion" possibly the best excuse to have days off as nobody will question it due to the current UK PC madness state of mind </BLOCKQUOTE>

& i corrected myself afterwards,as i obviously hadn't been clear enough that i was reffering solely to the hypocritical religious people who will break every law/rule/code their religion has but, come that time of the year they can get something from it they will become the most devout Christian,Muslim,Hindu,Jew or whatever denomination they happen to be & if questioned about the previous 50-51 weeks will say they've 'repented' etc. but come the end of the holiday they will be back to their old ways.

yeah, that's a pretty perfect response to that guys post about ramadan. so relevant, so focused. what discussion about not eating or drinking all day couldn't use a comment about unspecified moments in unspecified religions where unspecified people become devout in an unspecified way for some unspecified benefit?

Not that I do, I'm no alky ffs.
You ever go to castle Neuschwanstein? </BLOCKQUOTE>
I did. Bit of a let down: there are so many tourists there, that they chase you through the thing in what seems a few minutes.
Fantastic building though, you can see why the costs of building the thing almost bankrupted Bavaria.

I thought it was amazing. The bridge you stand on and look over towards the castle, was something out of a Disney film.
Lake Wolfgang is another amazing place aswell which isnt that far from Bavaria on the train
