Do you mean Pirlo at Milan? Well, it was in Italy but Barça had Guardiola playing there in the early 90’s in a diamond midfield. Although Guardiola wasn’t a 10, the “rule” in football is to have the defensive midfielder playing behind the creative midfielder.
