I have a Level 1, but I've never gotten around to doing any coaching. I think I'd like to play more first.

Ok cool thanks for the replies. Sounds like I should walk Level 1 . Would be great to get some decent badges and become a coach, I expect it's pretty competitive though to get to a really high level.

I have coaching badges, but in scotland, so they are SFA.
You'll be glad to know they are more highly rated in Europe that the FA Badges. Only Germany is more highly rated

Contact the SFA mate. Unfortunately it would mean you would have to travel to Scotland, and work from there.

I'm looking to get into coaching, but there's no courses on around my area at the moment.

Ive got a level 1, you get loads of free balls and bibs and stuff if you can prove your coaching a team, which is nice.

I'm a Level 2 FA (also got the old Prelim badge back in the day), but I have no time to go for the Level 3. I also have Level 1 awards in Rugby Union, Athletics, Basketball, Netball, Athletics and Tennis.

I would like to do the Scots badge; as someone above said, they are very highly thought of. English award schemes are such brown-nosing affairs, with the lead coaches giving passes automatically to their mates/players/players they want to sign who know jack all about coaching/controlling groups/etc.
