Default Dell Inspiron 6000 - Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit

Hi, first off i'm not a computer boffin, thus why i'm asking here.
I have a 2 year old Dell Inspiron 6000 which has the following aspects:

system
*Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
*Version 2002
*Service Pack 2

dell
*Dell Inspiron ¦6000
Intel(R) Penntium(R) M Processor
1.86GHz
782 MHz
1.00 GB of RAM

I was wondering whether this is enough to support Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit?

Sorry if i've missed something important off, just tell me and i'll add it when i see it

Can definitely run Ultimate, maybe won't be a smooth running experience with Aero effects etc.

What graphics card is in the laptop?

It is a ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300 and my settings are currently on screen resolution: 1280 by 800 pixels and 32 Bit colour quality

One worry for me though it that it says some programs might not run properly

Vista may have some compatibility problems with some software, but that is to be expected with a fairly new OS.

Your hardware will be able to run Vista just fine, depending on what you use your laptop for.

Don't use Vista without 2GB of RAM. Just not worth it.

So far the only problems i have with software are Ad-Aware and Agnitum Firewall Pro.

Ad-Aware is compatible with 32bit Vista but Agnitum is not.

Other than that i had no problems whatsoever so far (using 64bit Vista btw).

Rubbish, I'm using it with 1GB RAM and it's fine.

Just bleating out a standard line there which is complete rubbish.

If you switch Aero off its fine with 1GB of RAM and still decent with it on.
