How on earth can people play that game, there are goals scored pretty much constantly so i'd assume 1 shot of beer per goal would take up all your time and so you'd never have time to start downing shots

If you don't have much booze you sometimes lower the numbers a bit.

Problem with the Jeff Stelling game is everyone's gone by half time and turns in to a bit of a non event.
Still it's fun at the time |

Line up two teams of any number on opposite sides of the table. Everyone puts some booze in their plastic glass (depending on how hardcore you want to play). Starting with one end you clink glasses with your opposite number, down your pint, put the cup on the edge and with your finger flip it upside down. When you succeed in this the next person in the team can start downing their drink. And so on until a team finishes.
You then do some fancy knockout **** which I never remember |

Flipcup is a game where you have 2 teams standing opposite sides of a table. Its alike a relay race, everybody has a cup of beer and basically the first person has to down their drink, place their empty cup upside down and then flick it so it alnds back upright, at which point the next person can drink.
i usually play survivor flipcup, where at the end, the losing team votes off one member, so then say you had 2 teams of 6, 1 team now has to drink 6 cups between 5 of them. Obviously still not too bad, but you end up getting matches where 1 person has to drink all 6 cups by themselves.
its awesome because everybody obviously gets well into it cheering and that, awesome when 1 person sons an entire team by themselves

Two I know of that have proved popular, one you can only do once a year and the other you can do anytime.
Firstly the one you can do all the time - We knew it as 'Quaters' but I've heard it called other things - can't remember what though.
You'll need a table, a large 'pub style' ashtray, a shot glass and a coin... preferably a £1 coin, but most will work well enough.
Place the shot glass in the ashtray in then place the ashtray in the middle of the table. Each player then has to bounce the coin on the table and aim to get it in the ashtray or better yet, the shot glass. If they miss they down a drink, if they get it in the ashtray, ten play passes on to the next player, if they get it in the sho glass they nominate another player to have 2 drinks.
We usually play with small glasses of beer, but could also be shots or small cups of alcoholic punch. Add other rules, like no swearing, no going to the toilet without permission from the Chairman, who is voted in at the start but can be ousted in a coup. The chairman can make up other rules too.
The other game is based around the Eurovision Song Contest. You'll need quite a few players, so best played at a house party or something.
Everyone picks one, two or more countries depending on the number of players, possibly leaving some 'house' countries where everyone has to follow their forfeits.
Basically get a massive alcoholic punch made andf once the voting starts for every 2 points your country scores you have to drink one finger of your drink, except the country that gets 12 points, they have to finish what they have left and then also down a completely fresh drink.
Obviously if you get the eventual winner, you'll be on the floor in no time, the voting goes very quickly. Last time I played this was before the massive expansion of the contest, so it was still somewhat feasable... not sure what it'd be like now though.

Black, Gay, Mackem.
Person a says a celebrities name.
Person b then uses the first letter of the surname that person a said and they must say someone with that letter
e.g Person A: David Beckham
Person B's celeb's first name must begin with the letter B
Person B: Bobby Charlton
Obviously they cant be gay, black or a mackem, if they are then u take a shot.
A pretty lame game tbh, usually one a sit out of.
