Thanks I wil do it later in the week, I don't have any viruses on the machine or anything just like to have the minimum amount of programs that I can as I ony use the laptop to surf the net and play football manager.
Local independent shop was going to charge me £90 saying it wil take all day, I told him I dont have drivers he said he woud get them off the net when all he would have done is do what you suggested and charge me £90
