I have an acer laptop and never had any problems although going to take it to a computer shop this week to reformat the machine as it seems slow when surfing the net at times and has a lot of programs I dont want anymore.

Better off paying £50 more and getting the one I just linked because the one you are looking at has an onboard graphics card and if you have any problems CCL computers will be more helpfull than Dixons.

Vostro's are surprisingly good gaming laptops for their specs. Best value entry level IMO

Told you I am useless with computers I dont have a windows xp disc just the registration code under the machine and I dont have any drivers such as graphics card.

First link has onboard graphics while the second link has it's own graphics card but not a very good one.

I have an Acer 5652 (might be same as yours) how do I do it to factory settings? I think I had a floppy disk but might have lost that unless it is in the garage somewhere.
My other problem is I have a D-Link router and I have forgot the password so when I go to install it might have problems but there is a reset button back of the router and it should tell me the original code in the router manual.
