Scott Sinclair, Andrew Carroll and Ryan Bertrand sent home from England U19 squad
(from nufc.com hence the focus on Andy Carroll)
Quote:
With a promising international career ahead of him our on-loan striker Andy Carroll has been sent home from the England under-19 squad for breaching club rules.
From TheFA.com:
Three players from the England U19 UEFA European Championship Preliminary Qualifying squad have been sent home from the tournament for breaking curfew.
Scott Sinclair (Chelsea), Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea, on loan at Oldham Athletic) and Andy Carroll (Newcastle United, on loan at Preston North End) have all left the squad's base in Leeds and will not be returning.
Head Coach, Brian Eastick [former Newcastle United Academy Director], commented: "I found it necessary to send the three players home for breaking our code of conduct.
"All the appropriate people have been informed and there will be no further comment at this time."
England, who beat Iceland 5-1 on Friday, can qualify for the Elite Qualifying stage by beating Romania at Scunthorpe United on Sunday.
Tbh it proves that even the really young players are baby Bentleys. No disrespect to any of the players, I mean Carroll is fb, and so is Sinclair, (must admit I haven't seen Bertrand) but why do they need to think they're bigger than a curfew? It saddens me that these up and coming talents feel the need to do this.
Thoughts?

Scott Sinclair, Andrew Carroll and Ryan Bertrand sent home from England U19 squad Post #2
Bertrand, being a product of the Gills Youth system, clearly illustrating a strong desire to chav around like the rest of his former team-mates. League 1, Southern League and then Kent League awaits his career in the next 5 years.
