I've just been told of the following French insults:

Je te ****e en zig-zags au raie de cul!

and

Mieux vaut etre bien dans sa tete que mal dans ton cul!

Which, if they're actually used, is quite awesome.

Wasn't it the French who cut off the fingers of English bowmen in the 100 year war?

Should only really be used by the French against English then, no? Or did I get the historical context all wrong?

I think the English still used it as if to say "you didnt get me, ive still got my 2 fingers"

The french would cut off those two fingers of English longbowmen so that they became useless. Therefore whenever the two sides lined up for battle the english longbowmen would all stick their two fingers up at the French as a way off saying come and get me.

Not true though, English Longbowmen were by and large commoners and therefore not worth any money, so any captured would just be executed.

yeah it was the english that did it to the french for the reason you gave.
