Default Christmas sodding shopping!

Anyone else think its stupid doing Christmas shopping in mid October? Sister did all hers today, and my Dad just asked me what i would like for Christmas. I dont bloody know its nearly 2.5 months away.

I love Christmas but it starts December for me. Starting this early just spoils it and makes the day a big anti climax

my girlfriend's done most of ours online already. will leave the ones i have to buy myself until december though blatantly - for some reason i quite like the mentalness of actual non-online christmas shopping.

Even xmas threads moaning about xmas are starting in Sep ffs. Back in 1999 threads didn't appear till Oct.

Done most of mine, better to do it now than get caught in the mass hysteria that goes on by doing it in December.

Was bad enough on Saturday, had to queue about 25 minutes at the checkout

If people didnt start talking about Christmas to annoy people, would be no threads moaning about it. Vicious circle

I did the majority of mine last month via eBay. I'm always ridiculously premature with buying presents, birthdays or Christmas.

Christmas ifs. I'll just buy a few things for kids and grandmothers, that'll be it.
