I find poker a bit daunting, I'd love to learn how to play it properly, any good sites you'd recommend for learning.
Anyway, googling blackjack stratedgy, I've working of these rules and it's doing quite okay
Hard Hand : Hard hands include any hands without an ace and any hands with an ace where the ace must be counted as a 1 in order to avoid busting.
Hard 8 : You'll always hit a hard total of 8.
Hard 9 : Double down if the dealer is showing a 3, 4, 5, or 6. Otherwise take a hit.
Hard 10: If the dealer has an upcard of 2 -9, double down.Otherwise just hit.
Hard 11

ouble down if the dealer has a 2 through 10 for her upcard. Otherwise just take a hit.
Hard 12 :Stand if the dealer is showing a 4, 5 or 6. Otherwise take a hit.
Hard 13-16 : Stand if the dealer has an upcard of 2 through 6. Otherwise take a hit.
Hard 17-21 : You'll always stand on any hard total of 17 through 21.
Soft Hand: You'll almost always stand on a soft 18 or higher, and you'll always hit a soft 17 or lower.
Soft 13-14 : Double down if the dealer shows a 5 or a 6. Otherwise take a hit.
Soft 14-16

ouble down if the dealer has a 4, 5 or 6 for an upcard. Otherwise take a hit
Soft 17 : Double down if the dealer is holding a 3, 4, 5 or 6. Otherwise take a hit.
Soft 18 : Double down if the dealer is showing a 3, 4, 5 or 6. Stand if the dealer has a 2, 7, or 8. Take a hit if the dealer has a 9, 10, or ace.
Soft 19 : Always Stand
You'll always split aces and eight's no matter what the dealer's upcard is.
You'll never split five's or tens, no matter what the dealer's upcard is.
Pairs 2,3 7 The same strategy for pairs of threes and sevens also applies to two's. Split the two's versus a dealer two through seven, and hit the two's versus a dealer eight or better.
Split nines against the following dealer upcards:
2 - 6
8 - 9
Stand against the following dealer upcards:
7
10
Ace
A pair of tens is a hand you should stand on.
