Never had this problem before but has happened four times in the last few days.

The programmes have not been recorded and it comes up saying 'clashed'. An example being last night, had Top Gear to record from 7pm - 8pm and the SPL goals from 10.30pm - 11pm, both on BBC2. Why would these have clashed?

Any help appreciated.

Only thing I can think of. On another note, found Lee Evans: Wired and Wonderful in my planner last night. Forgot I had recorded it, so will watch tonight :cool:

Clashes often happen when programmes overlap - so if you record two programmes that end at 8pm, then have two more starting at 9pm - the two minute overlap will cause a clash.

That does sound like a fault - especially if it's happened a few times.

Better run the gauntlet of ringing Sky and speaking to someone who can't speak English. Bloody Scots call centres.

I find that clashes usually happen when someone messes with the schedule or tries to record something at the same time, realises, mess it all up and then don't own up

They will treat you like a moron btw. I bet they get a lot of people who have simple clashes ringing up and asking what happened.

So expect the "have you got series link programmes you might have forgotten about?" type question.
