I suspect that the Sky+ Anytime feature might take some disk space away from your normal recordings.

I think that it can be disabled in settings.


On the older boxes, Amstrad mainly, I think that there was a problem where a recorded program takes more space then it should. At least it did on mine, especially if I used the 30x fast forward speed.
The newer Pace boxes seem to be better.

Actually, now that I think of it - I got Sky+ with all channels apart from Sports and Movies, but I can't find the option for the Anytime feature.

It's supposed to be the red button when you go into the Tv Guide, but it wasn't there when I checked last night. Pretty sure I should have it based on my subscription.

Only the newer Sky+ or Sky HD boxes can receive the Sky Anytime service.

Completely agree, just had a quick look on it now. There just seems to be a load of cartoons on it, what exactly is the point of it?

IIRC it takes up to a week to record some things. Perhaps it's not available until it has recording something.

Like HD says, it's not very useful. I've only used it once to watch a film when there was nothing else to watch.
