Has anyone ever bought a dell laptop from their website, what are the pros and cons to getting one from them?

with dell you can custom build your PC, downside is you get McAfee crap installed.(can't remember if there was an option not to have that or not)

Bloatware is pretty minimal on the Vostro's as they're aimed at businesses.

The only downside to my one is that because it's Vista Business, it doesn't have any games like solitaire. It's that good :cool:

The Vostro's don't have the crap installed, as they were designed for small business :thup:

Just get Vista premium and turn Aero and youve got plenty of RAM.

My laptop runs Bioshock very nicely with just 1GB RAm and a mid range graphics card and processor.

now i don't care for anyones opinions on it, as i'd just get 10+ you should have bought acer or toshiba etc, but it came quickly, with a minimum of fuss and looks nice,

i installed the mcaffe thing i got with it for anti virus, but only because its free, i'll get one of those free ones when it runs out
