done pretty well for himself to now own a house worth over £500k and two other houses which he rents out, plus have a masters degree, and is now a senior teacher ( after having been a very senior manager in the NHS )

My platoon commander was the queen's godson. All our officers were aristocrats. And to a man they were ****ing superhuman - sharp as, born leaders, hard as nails and an unfailing sense of humour. It was most impressive.
