Dudley Moore went to Oxford and I can assure you he wasn't upper class as he lived up the street from my Dad in Dagenham when he was boy... in sh!tsville.

You kind of get the idea that the young upper-class are indeed as they are portrayed in The Young Ones (Bambi episode) and also Tim 'Nice but Dim' on Harry Enfield.
I'm sure their not all brain-dead amoeba's, but they certainly don't seem anymore clued up than your average charva. What separates them ? Being born with a silver spoon in their gob.
Do we have any upper-class poster's on here ?

Being completely neutral (I don't gaf who wins the boat race) - I've always got the impression that Oxford is just that little bit more prestigious than Cambridge.

| Admittedly they've been stratified for centuries now.
Whereas we still aren't exactly sure what defines the American upper class and quite a few of the truly wealthy wind up giving away most of their gains via philanthropy by the time they die anyways.

Cambridge was always seen as being the better University in terms of class.
No idea about educational standards (don't think it really mattered in those days).

| I don't agree. I think Oxford has a greater prestige generally.
Maybe amongst your own nobby friends it's different - but you're all inbred and brain-dead anyway so what do you know?
