No playmaker for a start.
| Sounding a bit like Abramovich tbh. Our midfield wins us games. Last season and before the amount of games that were won or drawn for us by the likes of Lampard, Essien and Robben was huge. Fcuk creativity and flair tbh.
Ballack, Lampard, Essien, Mikel, SWP and Malouda. Quality enough as Wallin said. We've managed without a 'playmaker' in the last 3 seasons, more than managed with 2 titles really. Anyway, Ballack has sublime vision and a fantastic range of passing so he could easily fill the role when he's back. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Bit of a daft way to look at it. Surely you want to do more than just 'manage'? </BLOCKQUOTE>
Reading ftw.

Although the Ballack I saw at Bayern and Germany could do that I suppose.

Because the current midfield we have isn't worth spending 100mil on a single player. Like I said.

I agree with that, I wasnt talking about Kaka specifically I was talking about a playmaker in general.

ahaha how exactly does suggesting you could do with more creativity in your side sounding like Abramovich? Ballack is a great player and you know i rate him above your other midfielder. I was simply responding to the suggestion that Chelsea wouldn't need Kaka because 'we have an abundance of mids' when you have nobody of Kaka's creative ability.
With the money spent on your squad, you should have been winning 3 titles and the CL in that time. F**k creativity and flair? Really? In those crunch games against the best in the world? Miland and Barca say hi.
Mind you, sounding like a guy who literally never speaks and is the only reason you have any trophies now isn't the worst thing i guess.
