Don’t think a £100m player is that much of an unbelievable prospect if he’s a proven marketing tool. There aren’t many players who fall into that category at the moment though. Beckham and Ronaldinho are probably the two most marketable footballers on the planet, not sure where Kaka stands.
We don't quite have the same reputation as Real Madrid and our marketing income is probably a fair bit below them, even if we did sign Kaka, which won't happen.
He'd be on ludicrous wages too. Would take a hell of a lot of merchendise to make that up.
So does Arsenal have an abundance of MC's of Kaka's quality? No, no one has. Smile But do we have an abundance of MC's with more than enough quality? I'd say clearly and I guess most Gunners would agree.
That's the answer to your last point Ratinho btw. Replacing Arsenal with Chelsea ofc.

Not suggesting it would happen with Chelsea or Kaka, just stating that a £100m player isn’t that ludicrous a prospect, if he’s bought for marketing reasons other than footballing ones.
Don’t think it matters which club Beckham or Ronaldinho sign for, enough people would rush out to buy the shirts with their name printed to make it worthwhile.
Not really, as you don't have the kind of creativity in your midfield that a team that wants to win everything needs imo. Noty suggesting you don't have the overall quality, saying you haven't looked to build a well balanced squad, but you guys know that already.

No playmaker for a start.
Sounding a bit like Abramovich tbh. Our midfield wins us games. Last season and before the amount of games that were won or drawn for us by the likes of Lampard, Essien and Robben was huge. Fcuk creativity and flair tbh.
Ballack, Lampard, Essien, Mikel, SWP and Malouda. Quality enough as Wallin said. We've managed without a 'playmaker' in the last 3 seasons, more than managed with 2 titles really. Anyway, Ballack has sublime vision and a fantastic range of passing so he could easily fill the role when he's back.

Not exacly my point, as we would replace our brightest star, but close enough.
I'd say that you would have more use for Kaka than we do. Still don't see there being a need for either of us though.

Bit of a daft way to look at it. Surely you want to do more than just 'manage'?
