**** all legroom in seating now, as long as it can be safely implemented (which it being nearly about 14-15 years since the ban should be possible) it should be def. be an option

it is far more intimidating to see row after row of people at full height looming down at you compared to seated fans

as for the ickle kids who cant see? let mum/dad hold them for 90 minutes then see if they fancy bringing them next week

One guy on the SSN video says:

"Standing is a step backwards - look at Glasgow, the Scotland National team, we're fine"

I didn't watch all of the Scotland game at the weekend but the parts I did see looked like half the fecking ground was on its feet!

whs, minus the charlton bit, standing so awesome </BLOCKQUOTE>

I get ****ed off with people who stand when you don't need to. Yeah I would choose standing if it was available but since it's not it's so inconsiderate standing most of the match, what about the people behind you? I think it's a bit ******* tbh.

Edgar Street still has large parts of the ground still as standing areas so it doesnt matter for us really but i think it should be brought back as the atmosphere is better than at all seater stadiums.

If people asked me to sit down I'd sit down, I always look behind me to see if the person behind is stood up.

Well that's good of you but most people aren't like that. Also I've rarely sat anywhere where there's more than a few people standing, maybe it's different where you sit.

this is a pointless debate because it will never ever happen

and to be honest, the idea that your grounds will get 'the atmosphere' back by simply getting rids of the seats is as naive as it is stupid. the whole demographic of football crowds has changed irreversibly over the last 15 years

Stand home, stand away so makes little difference too me.

Although we have had our allocation to anfieldreduced because of 'persistent stading'
