Yeah. Same thing is also an annoyance in Halo 3. Guaranteed that any Slayer lobby will have at least one guy desperate to get an achievement.

Awesome moment at the weekend when I told one guy I'd help him out with the "run someone over with a Mongoose" achievement. I stood directly in front of him while he drove towards me, then switched to a rocket launcher and blew him away Free kill :thup:

With games I actually like I will try to get achievements, though usually just the single-player ones.

A few games I've sent back to Lovefilm the day after I received them. If I feel the games crap or not my thing then I'm not going to waste my time playing it for achievements.

Never bother with achievements unless i actually enjoy the game. Even then i never get them all, can never really be arsed going back to a game once i've completed it. Not for a long time at least.

i like getting the points and i think some of the harder achievement give extra challenge to a game

NBS 2K6 is especially easy to get all the achievements for. I got them all in the first game I played, without even fulfilling the conditions.

My mate has got 1000 in Halo 3 already He's scarily good at that game
