When I signed up with Lovefilm around four months ago, the first film I added was the Departed, which I marked as high priority. I have had around twenty films since then, some of the low priority, and my list has been down to a handfull of films, but I have still never seen the Departed.
Which is why it's not a particularly good service if you're specifically wanting to see a particular film (especially since they removed FastTrak).
If, however, there's a steady stream of films that you're interested in, and you're not particularly bothered which one you watch first, it's stupidly cheap (compared to the equivalent number of "standard" video shop rentals)
on my list i can prioritise my selection, so i can put one dvd on "high" priority and providing its available, i can choose which order to get my dvd's that way, it's worked for the last 4 dvd's i had.

I've certainly read reports that they tend to "throttle" the lists of trial users if they rent too many, maybe that explains it.
I've been using them for two years and have never had a single problem, they always send the next disc on the day that my last one was received. Might be worth dropping them an email to find out what's going on? They're normally pretty quick to respond to them too.
The throttling has happened to me a few times. Now and again I go through a stage where I return every disk the day after receiving it. After a while they hang on to all of your returns for an extra day before the next one is allocated - so when you add in Royal Mail’s shocking service on a Saturday, each disc is only replaced once a week instead of every 3 or so days. But I worked out when I turn over that many discs I was costing them more in postage every month than the £15 I was paying, so can’t blame them!
The throttling also takes the form of sending things from lower down the list and not your priorities – waited 6 weeks for new series of Scrubs despite it being my only top choice.
Even so, I’ve been with them for over 2 years and still impressed with the service overall.

was with LoveFilm when they first started, then tried Tesco and Amazon because we're cheapskates, but they had a slower turnaround and were generally rubbish, so now we're back with LoveFilm
never had a problem, good service, gets my stamp of approval
I find you utterly inoffensive as a user Steve - so barring a bunch of people i really like asking for them by the time i get home - you can have one of the vouchers
