i doubt it'd be on an existing account, free months i can understand (they've got others to sign up) but free trials would afaik only apply to 'new' customers
I've been on several. You can wangle different accounts over a period of time and they will occasionally send you a 'come back plea' with a free-trial. It's a decent service, albeit a bit slow - but then it is via the postal service.
Eventually you'll get bored as there's inevitably a dry period regarding film releases and you've already gone through the back-catalogue which aroused your interest.

is this the one that claim 'no late fees'? if so couldn't you just keep it for 2 years and claim you always intended to give it back?
Yeah but you'd be paying £15 a month or whatever until you send it back
I've certainly read reports that they tend to "throttle" the lists of trial users if they rent too many, maybe that explains it.
I've been using them for two years and have never had a single problem, they always send the next disc on the day that my last one was received. Might be worth dropping them an email to find out what's going on? They're normally pretty quick to respond to them too.
