I saw Molly Ringwald on stage in London a few years back as Sally in 'When Harry Met Sally' - in fact she was the reason I went to see it :cool:

Hughes seems to ahve had a little break but moved more towards writing/producing not directing
could Kevin Smith be considered a modern day Hughes? his films are all central to one town, he draws on the same acting circle for his films too

I also remember 'Class' with Andrew McCarthy. Had a fit (at the time) british actress called Jaqueline Bissett as the female lead, IIRC. And she got her kit off plenty too. :cool:
