Is salad cream a British btw? I know Heinz aren't British ofc, but do Americans have Salad Cream? I've never noticed when I've been there, but then there's no reason why I would necessarily.

I dont think anyone else uses Salad Cream other than the Brits tbh. I've never seen it anywhere else that i can remember

The thing I missed most when I was in USA was brown sauce.
Salad cream ifb too. A definite winner on chips, but then so is brown sauce.

Does anyone else outside of Britain even get into Baked Beans ? It's not a major part of the American's breakfast. Do student types eat beans on toast there ? I doubt most of mainland Europe would touch it |

I remember hearing that Britain is by far the biggest consumer of Baked Beans in the world. Americans do eat them... they used to be the Incredible Hulk's favourite food. |

Salad Cream and Mayo are totally different though. It's ok to use Mayo but it's not exactly a substitute for Salad Cream
