Any plumbers in here? My boiler might be about to explode.
Basically what it says. There is this little blue box next to our boiler, which is connected to the pipes. It is making ticking noises and some grinding noises too, like a clock that has gone wrong. Now it has never made these noises before. Is it about to go bang? It is connected to the electric as well, judging by the cable coming out of it.
Does anyone know about these things? Obviously I don't but I would be grateful for any advice. The fact it is next to my daughters room is a bit of a worry for me...

turn it off.
although im sure it has made a ticking noise before. it's just that you've only just noticed it so your more tuned in.
my boiler at my old house used to make a kindoff tickng noise as it was heating up.
