er, ok.
It wasn't on TV. I don't think we tended to get live feeds of the US president making a trip to a city. It only became an event after the event, wheras the moon landing and 911 were live on TV.

tbh we all love a good disaster where we can sit and watch the news continuously for hours on end. plus you might get a day off.
