well then why are you prepared to spend nearly 3000 euros on something you no nothing about?
The graphics card handles the display, so a better graphics card allows games to be played at high settings, smooth video playback etc

we used both Dell and Vaio at work and they were pretty good. With Vaio, i think the "sweet price" is around £600 to £850 where you get a decent value for money. While the £1000+ Dell probably better value than the equal price sony.

Probably the slew of owner reviews and customer surveys that are all over the net. You might want to post on http://forums.notebookreview.com with what you need and you'll get other reccomendations. I wouldn't want to spend that much on a computer from either Sony or Dell, Sony's support is terrible if something goes wrong and Dell aren't the greatest if you are a home customer.

Not out of college long and still living at home so working full time and having few expenses! Im thinking splash out on myself before im married with kids!
