I could understand if he was wandering round a shop but you don't just phone dell up without knowing what you want. He phoned them up with the £900 PC in mind, surely? And if so, how would he say that he's not going to buy it if the purpose of his call was solely to buy it?

Maybe he rang up saying he liked the pc and wondered if they could do anything better with the price as he'd seen a similar spec for £699 with Mesh ?

i emailed dell saying i was intrested in a pc, but told them i was shopping about for the best deal.

I said that mesh were offering me a free printer (that was a lie) so they emailed me back offfering me 10% of the pc i was intrested in. that was on friday.

I emailed them back today saying i was going with mesh for £699 and i got an email back and then a phone call with the guy offering me the pc at the same price as mesh.

Just goes to show how much money company's they are making.

Mesh done the same i said dell were doing free delivery and i got an email back saying the computer i was intrested in now has free delivery

As someone said, the money for Sony go for the brand name. If you want it as a piece of jewelery then go for the Sony.
