So why is my screen invaded with stickies?

They are bad enough when they are actually relevant to the board let alone to a game I haven't bought since its 01/02 edition.

I don't care about the release date thread. But why oh why do I need to be kept up to date with fan boys, press releases and the FM pub quiz.
