We do actually have a decent rep for chefs (I don't mean the celeb chefs either). We can cook the dishes - we just can't invent them!

Then it comes down to what I think about France, it WAS a great country, has a great history and produced incredible people... but it has been declining for quite some time and all the country is left with now is a bunch of arrogant retards who think super highly of themselves because their ancesters were awesome.

ummm...the dissing of English food is due to the perceived standard of common food, not its haute cuisine, so not very representative using Fat Duck

On that point, the English and French are quite similar which is why we despise each other. You always hate people who exhibit behaviour you hate about yourself.

My parents were in England 9 months before I was born so technically I was conceived there but besides that my family's been 100% French for generations... but I'm flattered that an Engligh man thinks my English is good enough to pass for British
